Translating Blogs

Hi! I thought I would share this with you in case you are having difficulty translating your partners blog. I found a webpage translator on igoogle. Just go to www.igoogle.com. The box for google translate is very small but you can maximize it by clicking on the square in the upper right of the translate box. Once you maximize it, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and there is a place to translate a webpage by typing in the URL. I hope this helps some of you - it sure is helping me in getting to "know" some of our members. :o)

Hmmmmm. I didn't find the translate box on this page. However, I use google translate a lot. Here is a page that is nothing but webpage translation. Try this http://translate.google.com/translate_t?hl=en#auto|en|. Just put in your URl and click translate. You can choose a language or tell it to auto detect the language. I keep this page open in a separate window, then copy and paste any url for which I need translation. It's not perfect, but I do like it better than that one with the fish.

Google translate is great - I had to use it to learn something about my partner! Just from the Google search page, put in "translate", then the first real result is the Google Translator - you can choose "from language" and "to language" and copy and paste an url and it will show you the translated web page.
