Just a quickie note to say my exchanges are both received and accounted for. Thank Heavens! Sorry for ranting on the US post office service but.....seems we all still have too much trouble getting our packages? As I said it takes a lot of the fun out of things needing to redo and repay the postages especially if sending out of country.

I am still waiting on receiving my floss tag so whom ever is sending it knows it isn't here yet. Oh...I'll am patient in receiving...just NOT so patient when I know others are waiting on MINE to them! Ha!

A new floss tag is travelling

Since the first floss holder that I made didn't arrive, and it have been more than a month, I'm resending a new one this week , It's already in its envelope and I hope it reaches its new home by the weekend!!

LOST Floss Tag???

Well I am feeling VERY bad about my partner appearantly NOT receiving her floss tag from me? I haven't heard a word? If PATTI A will let me know ASAP I will resend one to you! (Maybe I missed the notice on this blog that she recieved?)I mailed the first one right around June 9 to CANADA from MN.
As I look through blogs etc. I CANNOT believe how many pkgs. etc. get lost in the mail or are in a long delay to receive. Yet the postal service in the US anyways...feels they have good cause to keep raising postal rates for the crummy service they provide? Jeepers! It takes all the fun our of these swaps etc. As busy as our summers are none of us really have the extra time/money to redo our exchanges and then have the postal services can make money TWICE on us when we mail.Doesn't seem to matter WHEN or HOW we ship.
There! I'm kinda,sorta done venting! Grrrr!

My Floss Tag has Arrived!!

I have received the cutest gift today from Jessica in Florida USA. It is the tiniest stitched windmill floss tag, with a delicious cupcake lip gloss, some really cute ribbon and a lovely little box to keep it all in. Oh Happy Day

You'll never guess what showed up in my mail box today. No, not a floss tag, I didn't participate in that one. It was a beatup-battered-been-around-the-world-twice six month old box! Remember way back in January? the scissors fob exchange? Well I made a very nice personalized fob for Iza and then

wrote her address incorrectly on the package and it got lost in the mail. TA DAH, it finally came back home today -- six months to the day after it was mailed! Iza, if you read this I am going to repost the package, but I want to get a photo of it first, just for posterity. My husband is off fishing with the camera and won't be home for two more days, but I'll get the photo and mail the package ASAP! The fob really is personalized for you and you really should have it. Oh, I'm so excited to know the package wasn't just purloined by some disgruntled postal worker. My faith has been restored, if we hold on long enough our packages will get where they are going -- even if they have to be mailed twice (LOL).

Floss Tag from Pokua

I received this beautiful floss tag from Pokua with pretty glass beads. It came all the way from Western Australia with a stunning post card. She did a lovely job and I love the overyed floss she choose. Thank you so much! I am using my new tag on my current project and I can't wait to use the glass beads on my next fob. I like the added weight the bead gives the piece, thanks again.
