On its way :-)

Yes, even my biscornu is now on its way to its new home. It took me longer than expected, maybe I didn't start early enough, but still I hope it will arrive in time, or at least not too late. Hope my partner will like it.

My Biscornu has Arrived!!!!

I've received my biscornu exchange from Ana Luisa yesterday~~ It came all the way from Portugal!! Look at what she had made me - a giraffe biscornu!!!!!!!!! Totally up my alley!!!!

And here's all the goodies she included in the package~~ I'm so overwhelmed with joy!!

The little chick just cracks me up!!! Thank you sooo much Ana~~

Biscornu heading to Scotland!

My very first biscornu went in the mail today! I was so worried that I hadn't counted properly and would have to redo the whole thing but it was fine. I'm hooked!

Well here I am to show my biscornu pkg. I received today in the mail. What a SURPRISE to see it was from my fob exchange partner, Monika, all the way across the ocean in Poland! She really kept it a secret! Think she was almost as excited as I was to see her name on this rounds pkg.? Monika did a great job on her biscornu for me and also sent along a cute little DMC "scented floss" cross stitch kit, a postcard of her area as well as candy candy tee hee! Oh and a nice letter about some of the goings on in her family...Hmm? What do I do first? The kit or the candy bar?? ha! THANK YOU so much Monika! You did up a really NICE surprise for me!

Just writing to let you know that my Biscornu went into the mail today too. I hope it reaches its' destination in good time and as it is going from England to Europe I have great hopes that it won't take 10 days to arrive.

Just to say that my biscornu was posted today and will shortly be winging its way across the Atlantic! Hope my partner likes what I made her - It was certainly fun to stitch and I'll have to do it again for myself!

Really enjoyed stitching this one.Biscornu's are one of my favourite's to make.
The ones sent so far are lovely and I enjoy looking each day for the new ones arriving.

Just had to comment on the gorgeous biscornus already received. Isn't it wonderful how the same basic idea is interpreted in so many pretty ways?
Congrats to all who have already finished and mailed their pretties! And congrats too, to the lucky recipients!
Back to stitching - I want to beat the mailing deadline - and my little work has a very long way to go.

WooHoo! what a great mail day! I received from Monique in Holland this lovely biscornu in varigated red on linen, beaded with the cutest little heart charm! also sent me Sticky notes, always needed, red floss and red ribbon! AND a great letter telling me about herself! thank you so much Monique!!

My fob arrived!

I was so thrilled when I found the package in my mail yesterday! It contained a lovely "biscornu-ish" fob, cute Dinky-Dyes scissors and two fabulous pieces of fabric (hand dyed 28 ct Jazlyn Opalescent and 28 ct Jubilee - I've never tried these before, already thinking of using them in a project). I'm sooo grateful to Leigh for sending the second fob and really sorry the first one didn't make it. I've never had any problems with over-the-sea mail (I do almost all of my stitchy shopping on-line from USA and UK) but there's always the first time - let's hope it was the last :)

My lovely biscornu arrived from California

Theresa (aka Pai Hong) sent me my lovely biscornu. It is beautifully made and she has our initials on the back, with the year and TTE for the Tiny Treasures Exchange. I love it - the pattern, the colours, everything! The little metal buttons are perfect, and this is the first biscornu she has made. Thank you so much Theresa for my lovely biscornu, it arrived on a wonderfully sunny day as well, so I think it brought some California sun over to Ireland!
