Yay!!!

I got my biscornu from the Tiny Treasures exchange. It came all the way from Pokua in autumnly Australia. And autumn is also the theme of this gorgeous biscornu. I love it so much. It is beautifully finished with beads around the corners that are the same colour as the stitching....my first own biscornu. Thank you so much Pokua!!!!

Taija has received the biscornu I stitched for her. She has posted on her blog. I really enjoyed stitching this one. I love the designs from Tante Zolder. She mentions on her blog that she collects thimbles so I sent her one from South Carolina. Taija lives in Finland and said she likes M&Ms, Kool Aid and tins to finish into tin toppers. I found these tiny Altoids and purchased several. I think they will make neat needle boxes.

I enjoyed this swap and I am looking forward to the next.

My Biscornu Is Here

I am now the very proud owner of a Dragonfly Biscornu. Aury designed this biscornu for me. It is so beautiful and dainty. I simply love it! She used the colors from my blog so she knew I like lavender. The dragonflies are awesome and so beautifully stitched. I also like starfish and she used the cutest starfish buttons, lavender on the front and mint green on the back.
Thank you so much Aury, I will treasure it always.
She also sent a Hummingbird pattern that she designed and included the floss to stitch it. I hope you don't mind Aury, I got the picture from your blog so I could show what a cute design it is.


I really have to squeeze this into my schedule and stitch it up. A million hugs and kisses Aury you are the greatest!

My Biscornu has Arrived!!!!

I've received my biscornu exchange from Ana Luisa yesterday~~ It came all the way from Portugal!! Look at what she had made me - a giraffe biscornu!!!!!!!!! Totally up my alley!!!!

And here's all the goodies she included in the package~~ I'm so overwhelmed with joy!!

The little chick just cracks me up!!! Thank you sooo much Ana~~

My biscornu went in the mail today. It doesn't have far to travel so I expect it to arrive by the end of the week. :o)

Biscornu Received!

Here is a picture of the lovely biscornu I received from Svetlana. Thank you so much Smiley! The orange really brightened my day and I just love the pearl beads you used.

The package was a little torn and smooshed but luckily you put it inside a plastic bag and it arrived safe and sound. I will enjoy displaying this little thing for many years to come.
